Coffee & Collage is a relaxed 1.5-hour self-guided analogue collage experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your creativity and enjoy some time away from the digital world.

Hosted by Sue, the founder of The Inspired Within, you’ll create surrounded by vintage chairs, shelves of second-hand books and the warm atmosphere Ampersand Cafe & Bookstore is known for, and spend the session cutting, layering and creating while chatting with others, exchanging images and ideas, and letting the conversation flow naturally.
It’s a small, intentionally selected group, the kind of setting where you can feel comfortable coming on your own, meet new people and simply enjoy being present.

As part of the experience, you’ll receive a curated collection of images to cut, layer, rearrange and turn into something entirely your own.

Just grab the scissors and start creating!

Frequently asked questions

  • Absolutely! If you have magazines, scissors and special papers, please bring.
    A note: No paint or brushes, please!

  • The signature collage kit will have a selection of curated images

  • The session runs for 1 hour. Getting late just means you won’t have the same time to enjoy the session like the others.
    We ask everyone to kindly organise themselves to get on time as the venue is big and has different areas.

  • Rescheduling is only available in case a similar session is available on another date. We don’t offer refunds for no-shows.
